Activity details

Led by a knowledgeable wine educator, participants will be guided through the process of crafting their own unique bottle of red wine during a hands-on blending experience. The wine educators will assist in selecting and blending different varietals to create a wine that perfectly suits individual tastes. Participants will experiment with various blending ratios to find the ideal combination, all while learning about the characteristics of different grapes and how they influence the final product. After finalising their blend, each participant will bottle their creation and take home a one-of-a-kind souvenir.

This blending experience is perfect for wine lovers of all levels – from the seasoned connoisseurs to those just starting to explore the world of wine.

Declan McCaffrey has a clever set up to learn about wine making. A little bit of science, with personal taste to make your own blend to take home. A group of friends enjoyed making wine and having a few laughs. A highlight of visiting the Hunter and would highly recommend. Also has the pleasure to enjoy a Mccaffrey wine tasting.

A must do in the Hunter if you love wine. Declan is so knowledgeable and a great bloke who teaches you about how to taste and blend wine. We learned soooo much. Was also heaps of fun. Couples or groups will love this! Book in.
