Riding comfortable low-step e-bikes, you’ll glide effortlessly along approximately 15 km of Brisbane’s stunning riverfront and through some of the city’s most beloved green spaces. With more than 80% of the route on dedicated bike paths away from traffic, and experienced cyclists as your guides, this is one of the safest and most enjoyable ways to explore the city.

You’ll cruise along a mostly flat loop that covers both sides of the Brisbane River, through the City Botanic Gardens and South Bank Parklands, past the Cultural Centre precinct and through the streets of South Brisbane and West End, finishing with the beautiful Roma Street Parklands. Along the way, you’ll stop to sample 5 iconic Brisbane and Queensland foods, with a story behind each bite.

With a maximum of 8 guests, this is an intimate experience that means personal attention from your guide and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. We use premium Trek e-bikes (industry “gold” standard e-bikes), which are easy to ride and comfortable for guests of all ages and body types. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or haven’t been on a bike in years, if you can ride a bike, you can do this tour.

Cancellations

Standard Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, let us know via email or using the links on your booking confirmation email. For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the experience is scheduled to start. You can reschedule the date or time of your experience up to 24 hours before the experience is scheduled to start. Cancellations via text message, Whatsapp or phone call are not accepted, it must be via email.

Super Flexible Cancellation Protection
If you ticked the box for the “Super Flexible Cancellation Protection” (only available for direct bookings via the Local Sauce Tours site), you can cancel or reschedule up to 3 hours before the experience is scheduled to start. Please email us to either cancel or reschedule under this policy. Cancellations via text message, Whatsapp or phone call are not accepted. Refunds under this policy are for the full amount, less the cost of cancellation protection and processing fees.

Rescheduling
You can reschedule the date or time of your experience up to 24 hours before the experience is scheduled to start but this must be communicated by email or using the links on your booking confirmation email. If you reschedule an experience, the cancellation policy is based on the original purchase time and original start date of the experience.

Cancellations Due to Weather
We run tours, rain or shine. On very rare cases where there is extreme weather, we will be in touch to arrange alternate plans. Always assume a tour is going ahead unless you hear from us. If weather creates a safety concern, we may cancel the tour. In this instances, we will either reschedule or issue you a full refund.

Reserve With Deposit Details
If you choose the “Reserve with deposit” option, we will charge the card you used to pay for the balance of the booking 7 days before the tour. Please ensure you have sufficient funds on your card for this payment. If the payment fails, we will try a second time 2 days later. If that payment also fails, we may have to cancel your booking.
