Sip Under the Stars: A Night of Wine Tasting & Stargazing

Embark on a captivating space journey, vino in hand at the Dryridge Estate, a magnificent vineyard nestled in the serene Megalong Valley.

Experience our one-of-a-kind stargazing tour among the vines, surrounded by the spectacular Narrow Neck sandstone escarpments and witness bright colours of the sunset over the Great Dividing Range to the west.

Indulge yourself with wine tasting under the stars led by an astronomer and exploration of the Southern Sky – planets, galaxies, stars, constellations and galaxies through the telescope, with scrumptious nibbles by the firepit, did we mention the cheese?

• 1 hour of Wine Tasting and 1 hour of Stargazing tour with an astronomer
• Sunset with breathtaking escarpment views across the Megalong Valley
• Substantial tasting of 7 current vintage wines served by passionate and knowledgeable staff
• Ploughman’s platter, including cheeses, cold meats, delicious accompaniments like pickles, olives and sundried tomatoes, all served with fresh locally made bread, grissini and flat bread. GF, vegan and vegetarian options available on request, please add in Special requirements.

The drive takes approximately 20 mins from Blackheath through the beautiful rainforest in the Glen and down to the valley floor. Follow the signs along the road and turn right off the Megalong Valley Road at the Six Foot Track onto Aspinall Road.

The venue is dog-friendly :).

The winery is not wheelchair accessible.

If you’re looking for transport to Dryridge Estate, so you can indulge in a few wines, we highly recommend:

Accommodation

Disclaimers

We require a minimum of 10 participants in order to run the tour, to hire our astronomer, the sommelier and privatise the winery. You will be able to reschedule, or we will offer a refund if we don’t reach 10 participants, 1 day before the start of the tour.

Cancellations

Please contact us at least 24 hours before the event to cancel or postpone your booking. Our tours are non-refundable.

In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, we’ll notify you by email at 1 pm on the day of the tour. We will offer you three options:

OPTION 1 Choose a Wine Tasting Stargazing gift voucher valid for 3 years, transferable to other people as a Gift Card.

OPTION 2 Attend the Wine Tasting at Dryridge Estate on the day or weekend, and receive a 3-year Gift voucher for our 90-minute Stargazing tour at Wentworth Falls open every night, in Jervis Bay or Canberra. Transferable to other people as a Gift Card.

OPTION 3 Use your full credit to join our 90-minute Stargazing tour in Wentworth Falls, available every night, Jervis Bay and Canberra. If you paid $280 for 2 people, you’ll receive a 3-year voucher for the same value paid to use towards any future stargazing tour (standard rate $85 per adult). Transferable to other people as a Gift Card.

Kindly be aware that in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, our tours are not eligible for refunds in the event of cancellation due to overcast skies. We strongly encourage you to book last minute to check the latest weather forecast or contact us prior to booking so we can check the weather together, if you do not want to receive a credit.
